On June 12, a research team for the Strategic Research on the Integrated Development of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Industry in Jiangsu Province, led by Academicians Pan Yunhe and Yu Haibin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited Luculent.

Staffed with top research elites from Zhejiang University, the Institute of Industrial Artificial Intelligence under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southeast University and other leading research institutions, the delegation carried out this field survey to inspect the digital implementation of industrial AI projects in Jiangsu Province and gather frontline practical cases for formulating the medium- and long-term development strategy for Jiangsu’s artificial intelligence industry. Wu Aibin, Chairman of Luculent, together with the company’s Nanjing management team and AI expert team, accompanied the research group for the whole exchange session.

At the forum, Wu Aibin extended a warm welcome to all experts. The research panel listened intently to Luculent’s report on leveraging industrial AI to advance new industrialization, and acquired detailed information on the company’s R&D progress in core technologies including vertical industrial large models, high-quality industrial datasets, multimodal fault diagnosis, and the coordination of large and small models. They also learned about its layout plans for university-enterprise collaboration, industry-university-research integration and industrial chain ecosystem development. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges centering on the market expansion of mature industrial AI products and the recruitment & training of interdisciplinary professionals.

Later, the research team visited the company exhibition hall. Mao Xuchu, Deputy General Manager, introduced that Luculent has dedicated itself to breakthroughs in core industrial technologies for 27 years and received a host of national-level awards and accolades. Following the development roadmap of "AI Platform + Scenario Applications", the firm independently developed the Sunshine Yaoguang Industrial Large Model, deployed more than 100 AI agent applications, and constructed benchmark digital intelligence AI projects for key state-owned enterprises such as China Guodian Power, State Power Investment Corporation, China National Coal Group and Huadian Coal Industry. Its business footprint spans over 20 countries worldwide. The research team highly commended Luculent’s fruitful innovative development achievements.

A total of four representative enterprises across Jiangsu Province were covered in this research visit.
