On April 7, the launch meeting of the NSFC-CAS Joint Project for Frontier Interdisciplinary Judgment & Research, Research on Industrial Intelligent Software for Industrial Internet, led by Academician Yin Hao of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was held in Beijing.
Present at the meeting were Academician Yin Hao, Academician Wang Wei, Academician Huaimin Wang and Academician Xiaohong Guan from CAS; Academician Haibin Yu from the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Tian Chuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Industrial Internet Research Institute; as well as more than 20 experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from institutions including Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Xidian University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Luculent Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Empyrean Technology Co., Ltd., PERA Global Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing CAXA Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Intelligent Equipment and Control Technology Research Institute of Dongfang Electric Corporation, and Sichuan Engineering Technology Center for Informatization Application Support Software.Gan Quan, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Divisions, Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended and addressed the meeting.
On behalf of the project team, the China Industrial Internet Research Institute gave an overall presentation on the project significance, research tasks, planned schedule and other aspects, and delivered a detailed report on key topics including AI-enabled transformation of industrial software development models, improvement of analytical capabilities, upgrading of application modes, and the theoretical system architecture of industrial intelligent software driven by the new industrial internet framework.
Participants held in-depth discussions on the definition of industrial intelligent software, the integration of artificial intelligence engineering and software engineering technologies, the construction of industrial ecological service platforms, the invocation of legacy codes and traditional tools, the analysis of implementation paths by industry and scenario, and industrial development forecasts, putting forward valuable opinions and suggestions.
The meeting further clarified the research directions and key issues, refined key tasks and implementation plans, laying a solid foundation for completing the project research to high standards and high quality.
