Following its inclusion in the first national pilot implementation list, the project Construction of High-quality Datasets for Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Wind Power Equipment Industry, jointly applied for by Luculent as the lead initiator together with CRRC Electric Motor (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Nanjing Oulu Electric Co., Ltd., China Academy of Industrial Internet and Nanjing Polytechnic Institute, has been successfully selected into the first batch of Jiangsu Provincial Pilot Consortiums and Projects List for High-quality Industry Dataset Development in the Industry and Information Technology Sector. Only 69 consortiums and projects across the province were shortlisted, representing high industry recognition and authoritative value.
Driven by the demands of typical application scenarios, this pilot initiative aims to foster a number of consortiums dedicated to high-quality industry dataset development, and establish a sound industry-wide high-quality data governance system featuring "four databases and one platform". It will ultimately integrate industrial data resources, develop core data technologies, formulate unified industrial data standards, build high-quality industry-specific datasets, and facilitate the implementation of industrial intelligent models and agent applications, thereby consolidating solid data foundations for digital transformation and large-scale artificial intelligence application across Jiangsu’s industry and information technology sectors.
All members of the consortium are committed to research on wind power data standardization and in-depth development of cutting-edge standards such as wind power digital twins, accumulating full-chain practical capabilities covering data governance, equipment management and platform operation. Centering on core scenarios of intelligent operation and maintenance for wind power equipment, the project aggregates multi-source heterogeneous data including SCADA real-time data, vibration monitoring data, oil analysis data, meteorological and environmental data, fault codes and maintenance records. Focusing on key components such as gearboxes, generators and main shaft bearings, it develops standardized, regulated and high-value exclusive datasets for wind power operation and maintenance, forming sufficient AI data reserves to support the iterative upgrading of wind power large models.
Leveraging such datasets, the project can fully support the training and application of AI models for early equipment fault warning, remaining useful life prediction of components, hidden danger root cause analysis and operation & maintenance strategy optimization. It improves fault identification accuracy and early warning efficiency, reduces unplanned unit downtime, boosts equipment utilization rate and power generation efficiency, and provides scientific support for life extension and renovation of aged wind power facilities. In addition, it connects industrial chain resources including complete machine manufacturers, power generation enterprises and algorithm service providers, strengthens cross-industry collaboration and complementary advantages, and drives the wind power industry toward a new operation & maintenance mode featuring cost reduction, efficiency improvement, unattended operation and comprehensive safety control.
As the leading entity of the consortium, Luculent has long provided professional services for major central state-owned enterprises such as China Energy Investment Group, SPIC and CNOOC. It boasts rich practical experience in new energy wind turbine industry services, industrial internet platform construction as well as professional data analysis and management. Taking high-quality dataset development as the core breakthrough, the company will accelerate the in-depth integration of big data, artificial intelligence and wind power business scenarios, and empower the high-quality development of new-type industrialization in Jiangsu with intelligent technology.
