Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Building Materials Federation, attended the conference. Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary and Executive Vice President, and Chen Kebo, Member of the Party Group and Vice Mayor of the Sanya Municipal People's Government, delivered addresses at the conference. Meng Fangbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University of Technology, presided over the conference. President Wang Fazhou presented the university's development progress and delivered the work report for the Building Materials and Construction Industry Council. Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Jiang Desheng, Peng Shou, and Wang Mingyang, Vice President of the China Building Materials Federation Sun Xingshou, and Chairman of Luculent Smart Technology Wu Aibin delivered keynote reports respectively. The discussions focused on deepening the integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, promoting the development of strategic emerging industries and new quality productive forces in the building materials and construction sector, and supporting the high-quality development of the pilot free trade zone.

In his report titled "Practices and Reflections on Intelligent Equipment Maintenance Under the New Industrial Internet Context", Wu Aibin pointed out that the building materials industry, as a capital-intensive and process-oriented core sector, is at a critical stage of transitioning from "manufacturing" to "smart manufacturing." Amid intensifying market competition and rapid technological iteration, operational challenges such as high costs for spare parts and maintenance, difficulties in production and operation decision-making, lagging service response, and knowledge transfer gaps are becoming increasingly prominent.

Under the wave of new industrialization, new generation technologies like the Industrial Internet and Artificial Intelligence are maturing, providing solid support for the digital transformation of the building materials industry. Luculent proposed an industry-integrated digital intelligent solution featuring the convergence of "Five Transformations," breaking away from traditional management models and collaborating with leading enterprises like China National Building Materials and Conch Group on digital transformation practices.

The Trend of Group-wide Management and Control. Based on the Sushine Industrial Internet Platform foundation and adopting a "cloud-edge collaboration" model, a unified intelligent equipment maintenance platform is built to establish a three-level management and control model of "group - subsidiary - factory." Through unified coding and standards, it promotes data interconnection, knowledge accumulation and sharing, centralized equipment maintenance, and joint spare parts inventory management. This standardization drives management efficiency improvements across the entire group, avoids redundant construction, increases maintenance efficiency, and reduces inventory costs.

Application of Intelligent Technologies. Utilizing industrial large models and intelligent agent technology to drive the shift in equipment maintenance from "experience-driven" to "data-and-intelligence-driven." When equipment generates an alert, the fault warning intelligent agent can automatically analyze data quality, verify model accuracy, invoke the knowledge base for reasoning, quickly locate the root cause of faults, and generate an alert analysis report, helping maintenance personnel improve fault-handling efficiency. Furthermore, by integrating multi-modal data fusion technologies such as vibration, oil analysis, and current spectrum analysis, more accurate and reliable fault prediction models are built, significantly reducing false alarm rates.

The Imperative of Green Transformation. Guided by the dual-carbon goals, AI algorithms are used to build optimization models for high-energy-consumption equipment like coal mills and large fans, enabling condition optimization and intelligent interlocking control. This achieves approximately 10% energy savings, meeting both green environmental protection and cost reduction/efficiency improvement objectives.

The Direction of Service-oriented Transformation. Leveraging IoT to build remote operation and maintenance service platforms helps equipment manufacturers transform their core equipment technical capabilities into diversified services such as inspection, remote diagnosis, professional maintenance, spare parts supply, and equipment leasing. This shifts the business model from "selling products" to "selling services," opening up new growth curves.

Co-creation of an Ecological Network. Connecting upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain, and integrating resources from building materials enterprises, equipment manufacturers, maintenance companies, smart hardware firms, operators, universities, and associations to build an intelligent equipment maintenance ecosystem for the building materials industry. This promotes precise connection and efficient allocation of maintenance resources, expert knowledge, and spare parts resources, jointly creating new industrial value.

Wu Aibin stated that Luculent's solutions have delivered considerable economic value to building materials plants. Taking a single cement production line as an example, benefits are achieved through: the production execution system improving operational efficiency; intelligent equipment maintenance reducing operational costs; quality management minimizing losses from non-compliant products; energy management realizing energy conservation and consumption reduction; smart safety and environmental protection controls lowering accident rates; and supply chain collaboration optimizing inventory and procurement costs. Each production line can create an annual economic benefit of at least 10 million RMB.

This conference established an efficient communication and cooperation platform for collaborative innovation within the building materials and construction industry. Luculent Smart is willing to join hands with all parties to contribute to the industry's development towards higher-end, intelligent, green, and integrated growth.

On the evening of December 12, at the Sanya Yazhou Bay Bougainvillea Science Park, a themed light show—"Gathering the Wisdom of Wuhan University of Technology's Building Materials and Construction Industry to Support the High-Standard Development of the Hainan Free Trade Port"—attracted the attention of attending guests.
