On July 10, the project "Research and Application of Thermal Power Safety Production Control Digital Platform Based on Cloud-Edge Collaboration", led by Guodian Power Development Co., Ltd. and co-constructed by Luculent, passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. The appraisal committee led by Academician Liu Jizhen unanimously confirmed that the overall technology of the project has reached the "internationally leading" level.
Relying on Guodian Power's massive thermal power data resources, the Thermal Power Safety Production Control Digital Platform is developed to meet the needs of safe, efficient, flexible and intelligent development of the new generation of coal-fired power generation. It deeply integrates advanced technologies such as industrial internet, big data and artificial intelligence, and innovatively builds a group-level thermal power safety production and intelligent control digital platform based on cloud-edge collaboration. The platform has researched and developed a multi-dimensional equipment fault diagnosis and supervision early warning system based on unified evaluation rules, constructed a unit state evaluation system integrating AI models and mechanism models, and proposed economic indicator contribution analysis methods such as year-on-year analysis, excess/shortage analysis and correlation analysis, forming a digital and intelligent closed-loop control system featuring "comprehensive perception, accurate analysis, intelligent decision-making and efficient execution".
At present, the platform has been successfully applied to 37 units in Guodian Power's headquarters and 12 subordinate thermal power units. Since its launch, it has issued more than 550,000 early warning messages with an accuracy rate of over 90%, playing an important role in equipment fault diagnosis, operation optimization guidance, safety production management, etc. It has successfully avoided non-stop and non-down accidents for many times, effectively improving Guodian Power's safety production control capability and achieving significant social and economic benefits.
The successful research and development of this platform not only provides core technical support for Guodian Power to build a world-class energy enterprise, but also provides a replicable and promotable intelligent solution for the entire energy industry, which will help the entire industry to accelerate its development towards "digitalization, intelligence and greenization".
