Recently, Luculent successfully won the bid for the MIS/SIS integrated information system of the EPC general contracting project for the conventional island, thermal - storage island, and heating part of the 50MW concentrated solar power (CSP) project in the "Zero - Carbon" Photovoltaic - Storage - Thermal - Power Demonstration Project on the snowy plateau of Ali, initiated by China General Nuclear Power.
This project adopts the technical route of integrating 220MW photovoltaic power with 205MW molten - salt electric heaters for heat collection and exchange. It can simultaneously provide power and heating and increase employment in the Ali region, meeting the basic livelihood needs of the people. Moreover, it can effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions each year, which is of great significance.
To strengthen project support, the client has joined hands with Luculent to create an integrated management and control "center", providing digital and intelligent support for the entire business processes of power - plant production, management, operation, and decision - making, aiming to achieve the construction goals of "faster response, more accurate prediction, more flexible adjustment, and more economical operation".
