The Enterprise Asset Management System researched and developed by Luculent takes the asset and device ledger management as its basic knowledge base for equipment maintenance and it fulfills inspection and repair by use of several modules such as worksheet management, standard work, defect management, project management, preventive maintenance and reliability control. Meanwhile, the system highlights clear guidelines for constant improvement and shapes the comprehensive loop of constant improvement consisting of “technical equipment standard – business module – analyses on equipment ledger effects – technical equipment standard” depending on the built-in technical standard system. To support the fulfillment of “the group-level intensive equipment management mode”, Luculent researched and developed the latest Enterprise Asset Management System which is designed as three-level structure (three centers) depending on the reform of the equipment management business mode; and these three centers are as follows from bottom up: equipment operation and maintenance center, remote monitoring center and fault diagnosis center. The equipment operation and maintenance center corresponds to the affiliated plants, the remote monitoring center to the regional monitoring center, and the fault diagnosis center may be a team of diagnosis experts or a group of external equipment management experts shaped through the internet platform.

The Enterprise Asset Management System restructures, designs, researches and develops the intensive management mode. And from the technical platform design, it boasts the capability to process and store data in various formats such as real-time, relational and document data based on the cloud platform deployment and the application structure; at the business layer, it is designed to have the “three-center” business structure to fully support intensive equipment management mode exercised by the enterprise.

Management and control integration (integration of management and control systems)

(1)It integrates the equipment monitoring and equipment management interfaces into a technical platform; and it solves the problem that the conventional Enterprise Asset Management System and the monitoring interfaces separately belong to two systems; (2) it can track the equipment status based on the data of the bottom layer control system; for example, the rated hours of continuous operation is set to start a maintenance task; or if the device temperature exceeds a certain critical value, it starts a smart alarm and an exception check etc.; (3) it smartly pinpoint the optimal status depending on all input parameters of production environment so as to search for the optimal production scheme of the current conditions in the historical base.

Closed loop management with traces retained.

The whole Enterprise Asset Management System is designed on the basis of the business process for the purposes of closed-loop lean management; every operation in the system and every state change are connected in series according to the business process and recorded to support the data review of the past production procedure under the process. For example: for an equipment defect incurred during production, the processing flow is shown in the following diagram.
